GLOW aims to empower young girls by providing education, resources, and support for menstrual care, hygiene, and self-confidence.

GLOW empowers young girls by providing knowledge about puberty, menstrual care, hygiene, and self-care in a supportive and accessible way. Through workshops and community outreach, it helps break taboos, build confidence, and promote health and confidence during a crucial stage of growing up.
Causes
Our causes are the heart of our movement, driving change and progress in education.
This program was started because many young girls grow up without the information or support they need to understand their periods. Without proper education, they may feel scared, confused, or embarrassed about the natural changes happening in their bodies. The program aims to give girls the knowledge, confidence, and tools to care for themselves and feel proud of who they are.
It’s important for young girls to have education about menstrual care so they understand what’s happening in their bodies and don’t feel afraid or ashamed. Learning about periods early helps them stay healthy, practice good hygiene, and manage their menstrual cycle with confidence. It also creates a sense of comfort and pride, showing them that menstruation is a normal and natural part of growing up.
Teaching young girls about menstrual care is important because it helps them grow up feeling confident, healthy, and informed about their own bodies. When girls have the right knowledge, they can manage their periods safely and without fear or shame. It matters to me because every girl deserves to feel proud of who she is and never be held back by something as natural as her menstrual cycle. I want to help break the silence and make sure no girl feels alone during this important stage of life.
